Coffee Prince

6:45am: My cell phone alarm rings to the tune of "Sunday Morning" by the beloved Maroon 5.
6:55am: Finally roll OFF the bed; and blindly search for the restroom
7:15am: Dress in anything that fits or doesn't pinch my sides too tightly.
7:30am: Walk out the door to car. Warm up engine for 30 seconds.
7:31am: Call my Significant Other...hehe.
7:50am: Arrive to work. Clock in. The 8 to 5 day officially begins.

----------

5:30pm: Happiness and relief begins.
6:00pm: Eat dinner
6:30pm: Finish and digest. Watch daily does of Malcolm in the Middle
8:00pm: Go to room. Wash face, change clothes, turn on laptop.
9:00pm: Facebook. Blogger. Yahoomail. Motortrend, veoh for Coffee Prince
10:00pm: Shower
10:30pm: Hop into bed. Clean and refreshed. Call S.O.
11:00pm: ZzZzZz...of better days...

Tennis at Woodbrige

I took my cousin out to his tennis tournament at Woodbridge in Irvine yesterday. It was the first time I got to see a bunch of tennis players converge in one area to try to improve their game and rank status. I think it was a USTA event at a local level, but all in all, I thought it was interesting to see some tennis kids and their tennis-fanatic parents that dress up as well. Everyone was in their tennis casual gear: polo shirts, shorts and tennis shoes. That would be a complete 180 for me in my Haviannas, casual slim shorts and button up collar shirt. Oh, and I had my fobby messenger bag that I bought in Tokyo on, so that didn't really help me fit in either.

But whatever. Here are a few shots I took.

Fiat 500

Okay, I know I go car crazy every now and then, but I couldn't help it when I saw this cute car. It's only in the market in like the UK and everywhere else except the U.S., which is horrible for me. But if it does come to the U.S., I am totally getting one.

Way better looking than a Mini Cooper, I think.

Here are the photos I stole from motortrend. Hehe.

Buds

Karen, Tina, Patrick and myself went out to watch Harry Potter a couple days ago. I think it was on Wednesday. I wanted to take fun photos but we were so tired and the lighting was poor so I couldn't take anything cool, but I still wanted to post a few of them.

In the last photo you'll notice that Tina and Patrick both have iPhones. They bought them soon after I came back from Japan. I felt like iPhone's took over America while I was gone. Almost everyone had one at Irvine Spectrum. Crazy.

Tustin & Irvine

These photos are actually from Saturday July 14th. I just didn' t have time to really upload them or even sort through my SD card. But my friend Sarah invited me to see a couple residential products in the city of Tustin and Irvine (my hometown) and I gladly armed myself with my camera and took off to the meeting spot.

The first photo is from shot in Tustin Field located along Harvard and Edinger. The products varied from attached and detached homes but the one shown here is along the main entrance on the street Tustin Field. I really liked this one because it reminded me of how beautiful brick work can be on a facade and how it recalls the mood of urban east coast cities. I wish Irvine allowed non-Spanish/Italianate designs to be done to avoid the luxury cookie-cutter feeling it already entails.

The other three photos are from Irvine's community Northwood II. I actually live rather close to this area and was happy that I didn't have to drive very far to get there. But I wanted to show how Irvine always has Spanish/Italianate/Andalucian styles throughout the city. I mean, there are little variances, but holistically, the city looks rather similar throughout...housing-wise, anyway.

Tokyo Gallery

Here are a few of the photos taken in Japan. The one's with me in it are obviously taken by a third party member. :o) I owe him thanks for those. But the rest were taken by yours truly. Hooray to Japan. I miss it already. But reality hits tomorrow morning when I have to work the daily grind. Boo...but I get to watch Transformers tomorrow and Harry Potter on Wednesday! Yay!
